Our primary mission is to provide an environment for PC gamers who show maturity & respect for other gamers no matter what their skill level may be. The GS96 Expectional '1942' Achievement Medal was created in honor of Badaboom1942. On October 13th, 2012 Badaboom achieved his 1,942 Claymore Kill in 'Battlefield 3'. He is the first recipient of this award.

Badaboom1942 is a founding member of GS96. He was involved with PC gaming long before joining GS96. Born in 1942, he is one of the oldest PC gamers in the gaming community. He achieved one of the highest Knife Kills in �Battlefield: Bad Company 2� within GS96. On October 13th, 2012 at the age of 70 years old he achieved his 1,942 Claymore Kill in �Battlefield 3� making it the highest number within GS96. On June 4th, 2013 he reached Colonel 100 in 'Battlefield 3' along with being 25th in the world for Claymore kills (7,574 kills).

If he is not online playing with GS96 then he is spending time with his family especially his grandson Hunter. Badaboom is an inspiration for all within GS96. To honor his achievements GS96 created two awards for the members of GS96 to work towards. We are honored to be playing alongside of Badaboom1942.
